Introducing the Raggy Dogs!

We have brought together an eclectic mix of raggy dogs to create the perfect poodle mix family dog. We are passionate dog trainers and having been involved with training, breeding and rearing dogs for over 30 years, we understand the important role genetics plays in determining temperament. Our program aims to create hypoallergenic dogs; combining the poodle coat with the qualities of other breeds. We strive to be ethical breeders and only have one or two carefully planned litters per year, we occasionally have Toy Cavoodle, Mini Groodle, Mini Bordoodle or Mini Doodle puppies available in Sydney, NSW. Piccolo

Piccolo is the cutest, sweetest, red toy poodle you could ever meet. His favourite hobbies include chasing Manuka, blowing bubbles in the pool, and watching Game of Thrones whilst cuddling on the couch. Piccolo is known for getting ridiculously excited and running around in tiny circles. Piccolo has been DNA tested clear of all diseases and hip and elbow scored with better than breed average results. Our red toy poodle stud is located in Sydney, Australia and his services are available to approved girlfriends; frozen and chilled semen can be arranged for interstate and international shipping. Piccolo has sired stunning Toy Cavoodle, Mini Groodle, Mini Labradoodle, Mini Bordoodle, Moodle and Spoodle puppies for some of the best breeders in Australia.

Saffron

/ˈsafr(ə)n/: An aromatic crimson-coloured flavouring, food colouring, and dye made from the dried stigmas of a crocus.

Saffron (now retired from breeding) has eyes so hypnotic that once eye contact has been made, resistance is futile. He has inherited the sweetness of Piccolo and the playfulness of Manuka. He is just as happy cuddling up on the couch as he is playing with our son Finn in the backyard. Saffron has been DNA tested clear of all diseases and hip and elbow scored with better than breed average results. Manuka

/ˈmɑːnʊkə/: a small tree with aromatic leaves which are sometimes used for making tea and honey.

Manuka has given us 3 beautiful litters of F1B Toy Cavoodle puppies and has now been retired from our small breeding program and lives with good friends as their much loved companion. Manuka is a golden cavoodle who is sweet as honey. She loves long walks by the river, and playing with her soft toys in the coloured ball pit. When particularly excited she wiggles her bottom uncontrollably and races around the lounge room. DNA tested.

Shula

/ʃuːlɑː/: an Arabic name meaning a small flame.

Shula is a playful smooth coated Standard Groodle who loves running around the yard and learning new tricks. Shula gave us 3 litters of beautiful Mini Groodle puppies and has now been retired. She lives in a guardian home with her best buddy 'Harmaa' our merle Bordoodle. So far she has learnt how to shake hands, spin on the spot and sit pretty. She has a sensitive nature and is always eager to please. She enjoys going for bush walks in the Blue Mountains where she splashes and swims in waterholes. DNA tested.

Harmaa

/ˈhɑrmɚ/: a Finnish word meaning grey.

Harmaa is a gentle Borderdoodle who loves going for long walks and chasing balls around the garden. Now retired, Harmaa gave us 3 stunning litters of Mini Bordoodle puppies, including some blue merle Borderpoos! She lives in a guardian home with Shula our groodle. She makes friends with everyone, and her laid back attitude endears her to everyone she meets. DNA tested.

Gili

/ɡɪli/: a Hebrew name meaning happiness.

Gili our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has now been retired from our small breeding program, she lives with a family who adore her and loves sleeping in, playing with her soft toys and having her tummy rubbed. She happiest on the couch or wherever you are. Gili produced the most adorable teddy bear coated First Generation Toy Cavoodle puppies for us. First Generation Cavoodles are a mix of Cavalier King Charles and the Toy or Miniature Poodle. DNA tested.

Hunaja

/hənēA/: a Finnish word meaning honey.   

Hunaja is the daughter of Harmaa and Saffron. She has inherited her beautiful red colouring from Saffron and incredible intelligence from Harmaa. She is very cuddly and loves relaxing inside but is always up for a game of ball, a jog or a walk in the bush. Hunaja has been DNA tested clear of all diseases and produces the richest ruby red Toy Bordoodle puppies we have ever seen.

Zanzi

Zanzi: a descriptive word for extreme bouts of happiness and energy.

Zanzi is a sweet natured, bubbly teddy bear. She is one of our Guardian girls and has inherited the charm of Saffron and the calm of Harmaa. Her creamy non-shedding fleece coat is as soft as it looks, she adores cuddles and in typical Raggy Dog style she soaks up all the tummy rubs. DNA health tested and a carrier of the merle gene. We look forward to her having some breathtaking Chocolate Merle, Parti, Golden and Blue Merle Mini Borderoodle puppies in the future.

Papaya

/pəˈpīə/: Papaya is a tropical fruit with orange-colored, sweet flesh and edible seeds that have a pepper-like flavour.

Papaya is one of our playful Cavapoo puppies, she is currently going through our puppy training program. She loves playing her boundary and crate training games. Her love of food makes her very easy to train. When she is happy her whole bottom wiggles, she inherited this trait from her mum 'Manuka' and her cuddly nature from her dad 'Piccolo'. Papaya lives in a Guardian home in Sydney and has had one litter of Toy Cavoodle puppies which included a gorgeous Chocolate brown Cavoodle, 'Koko' who we placed in a Guardian home. DNA tested.

Cino

Cino: The diminutive form of cappuccio in Italian, meaning "hood" or something that covers the head, thus cappuccino literally means "small capuchin"

Cino is an intelligent and loving stud that we are excited to see producing some Parti colour, Chocolate, Merle, Phantom, Cream, White, Brown and Golden Poodle Mixes for Raggy Dogs. He is a Miniature Poodle weighing 5.5kg. Along with bringing in new genetics, he is also double furnished and doesn't carry any shedding genes, meaning all of his puppies will have a teddy bear coat and none will be high-shedding or smooth coated. DNA tested and PennHip scored, no signs of Hip Dysplasia and better than breed average results. Cino our Chocolate and White Mini Poodle stud is located in Sydney, NSW and is available for stud services to approved girlfriends. Astro

Astro: A celestial body, star.

Astro is a purebred red Toy Poodle, weighing 3.7kg. He has a luxuriously thick, soft coat of wool that is hypoallergenic. Walks and cuddles on the couch are among Astro's favourite things. He can always be found with a toy in his mouth and if you're not quick enough he'll steal your seat before you sit down! Astro has been DNA screened for genetic diseases and is clear. He has been PennHIP scored with better than breed average results and no signs of hip dysplasia or osteoarthritis on his X-rays. A proven sire to non-shedding Mini Labradoodle, Mini Groodle, Mini Borderpoo, Toy Cavoodle, Moodle and Spoodle puppies. Fonzie

Fonzie: Coolness, rebelliousness, or a facility for attracting ladies.

Fonzie is a true to size purebred red Toy Poodle, weighing an adorable 2.8kg. As his name suggests, The Fonze is a cool little dude, who charms everyone he meets. Having a stunning mahogany ruby red wool coat and functional conformation, we look forward to him fathering some Teacup and Toy Cavoodles for Raggy Dogs.
